Day One - Toulouse

Welcome to France! Upon landing in country, our private driver will transfer you from the airport to our group hotel.

We’ll kick off our trip in style with our on a wine bar tour, a celebration of France’s apéro tradition. Explore hand-picked wine bars, taste rare southwest French varietals like Négrette and Mauzac, and learn expert tasting techniques in a relaxed, welcoming setting led by a certified French Wine Scholar. We’ll leave well equipped to explore the regional foods and wines of France for the next 8 days!

Day Two - Toulouse

In the morning we’ll head out on a food tour where our friend and guide, Alex, is a trained chef who doesn't just buy pre-made food from vendors, but rather, he cooks delicious regional recipes for us on the spot. Dive into the heart of Toulouse with Chef Alejandro as he takes you on a culinary journey through the city's historic center cooking up bites on his hipster cargo bike-slash-kitchen!

In the evening you’ll have time to explore the “Pink City” on your own.

Day Three - Toulouse

In the morning we’ll step into a centuries-old workshop to master the delicate art of blue-dye craftsmanship with our friend Annette. Our hands will be stained with rich indigo as artisans share their time-honored techniques.

In the evening we’ll gather for a welcome dinner for a hands-on cooking class and learn how to cook classic French dishes of the region and the best wine pairings!

Day Four - Saint-Émilion

This morning we journey to the famed vineyards of Saint-Émilion. We’ll descend into the hidden world beneath Saint-Émilion on an underground tour, uncovering centuries-old cellars and storied history. Then, enjoy an exclusive visit, tasting, and dinner at the village’s only château, where you'll dine in the courtyard alongside the owners.

Day Five - Saint-Émilion

After a leisurely breakfast and relaxing morning, we’ll enjoy an exclusive tour and wine tasting and learn the art of wine blending at Chateau de Ferrand. Where we will also enjoy an exquisite lunch.

Finally, we’ll head back to the hotel and you’ll have the evening free.

Day Six - Loire Valley

On our way to the Loire Valley, we’ll make a pit stop in Cognac country, where sun-drenched vineyards stretch for miles. In a historic distillery, breathe in the warm, spiced aromas of aging eaux-de-vie as our friend Sabine shares their production method with us. We’ll enjoy a savor a leisurely lunch on her property, savoring the region’s rich flavors at a relaxed countryside pace. And it’s not complete of course without dessert — where Sabine will lead us through a Cognac and chocolate pairing experience.

Day Seven - Loire Valley

Today we’ll explore the rolling hills of the Loire Valley, where grand châteaux meet lush vineyards. Savor the earthy flavors of a mushroom and wine tasting, step into history at Clos Lucé, the final home of Leonardo da Vinci, and end the day with a relaxed village dinner, embracing the simple elegance of Loire’s cuisine.

Day Eight - Loire Valley

In the late morning, we’ll head to Tours and step into a family-run atelier where handcrafted wallpaper comes to life, each design a testament to time-honored craftsmanship. Watch the artisans at work before ending your journey with a private château farewell dinner, raising a glass to the unforgettable experiences shared along the way.

Day Nine - Departure

Our departure day begins with an optional group breakfast at the hotel before saying farewell. We will coordinate a private driver and transfer to Paris on to your next adventure!
